EMBEDDED AND INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS LABORATORY

AIM: Available for students and staff in undergraduate and graduate level research and development at Digital Systems, Microprocessor Systems, Embedded Systems, Smart Objects and Environments, Computer Architectures, FPGA systems. 

HARDWARE and INSTRUMENTS: The laboratory has 12 up-to-date test tables where 24 students can conduct experiments, studies and research. 

TEST SETS and SOFTWARES

All the hardware and software in the test sets are state-of-the-art, which the instruments and computers communicate directly via USB. The following hardware and software are available in the laboratory:

· 12 ELVIS test systems (National Instruments)

 
· LABVIEW, MULTISIM softwares (National Instruments)

 
· 13 MyRIO embedded systems and ARM processor test cards (National Instruments)

 
· 12 FPGA test cards (National Instruments)

· 12 ARM M0 test cards and software (ARM)

· Various embedded system test cards and design software donated by Texas Instruments and Digilent
